Donor Grant Request
The objective of the Donor Grant Request Program is to provide the donor with an avenue to direct their donation, via the Colorado Lions Foundation.
If the ultimate destination is other than a 501(c)(3) Organization (ie: Lions Club or local Colorado emergency), the purpose must meet the IRS requirements for a donation to a 501(c)(3) Organization. The Colorado Lions Foundation Board of Trustees has final approval of such donor requests.
Emergency Grant
The objective of the Emergency Grant Program is to provide immediate emergency relief assistance to victims of natural disasters through the service of Colorado Lions Foundation. Emergency grants are available for relief aid in the wake of tornados, wild fires, flood or other natural disasters, that have impacted at least 50 people
Standard Grant
Standard grants involve identifying what is needed most for a community, and making it a life-changing reality.Providing matching funds, standard grants for humanitarian projects are the most common type of grant awarded. Projects must serve the people and must be beyond the scope of traditional club fundraising activities. Standard grants generally provide capital funding for equipment and infrastructure needs. Typical projects include the Colorado Lions Camp, hospices, blind and disabled centers, eye clinics.
